The track was then decided to be dropped as it had not fethced much attention from its listeners. However, in a radio interview made by Taylor Swift, she mentioned about the song and how she loved listening to it repeatedly and also rapped the lyrics of the song on the show for the listeners. With this, the song soon became a favorite amongst all listeners and also topped the music charts. The song became extremely popular in the entire country and went on to become one of the best Nicki Minaj’s songs.

Apart from having Super Bass voted as the best song in BillBoard, she is also the first ever artist to have seven of her songs ranked on the Billboard hot 100 songs, all at the same time. These features made Nicki Minaj one of the best hip hop artists in the music industry. In 2011, apart from having her hot number Super Bass ranked as the best song of the year, she was also named as 2011’s Rising Star by Billboard.
